.......................................Brazil Outsourcing Program

The Brazil Outsourcing Program was established to promote Brazil in the world market of software and IT services.

The project started with a seminar held at Rio de Janeiro on July, 2005, when we brought representatives from leading international consulting companies to meet with local providers. On the following year, we moved to São Paulo, where we held the Seminar Captive Centers 2006, with a strong participation of the local subsidiaries of the global companies, to evaluate their role as a service provider to their corporations. Still in 2006, we invited Jagdish Dalal, a well known international consultant, ex CIO of Xerox, Data General and Carrier Corporation, who ran a successful workshop on Outsourcing and Offshoring.

The 2007 Seminar main theme was Partnerships. The Seminar called Brasil Outsourcing and Captive Centers 2007 was held at the São Paulo American Chamber of Commerce, on February, 26 and 27, 2007. The agenda focused on themes of interest for both service providers and global clients, in IT and Business Process Outsourcing, promoting their partnership to create poles of competence in specific market niches and to develop new channels to access the world market.

In order to speed up the insertion of the Brazilian products and services in the most important markets, we are establishing a global network of successful Brazilian Executives and Professionals, to help the local companies to enter and succeed in the foreign markets and, at the same time, to promote the strength of the country´s image internationally. This network, called Brazil Diaspora Network will have, initially, two regional chapters, one in the United States and other in Europe.

We are now organizing the Seminar Brazil Outsourcing and Captive Center 2008, which will be held on February 2008, with six tracks: Captive Centers Issues, Brazilian Multinationals, Brazil as an Offshore Destination, Opportunities in the International Market, Service Provider Issues and Special Topics. The Global Deal Advisors will be our special guests.
